Media and Presentation Training

Who are we?
Maussen Media & Presentation Training Courses works closely together with Leads PR and services everyone, individual or organisation, who wants to improve his/her/its presentation skills. We are the right place for you, especially when you want to convey your story effectively in the media or must address other groups.

Who do we work for?
Maussen Media & Presentation Training Courses works for business, the government, politics and the entertainment industry, targeting all layers within these organisations. From board members, director and management teams, to spokespeople, department managers and employees. In brief: we focus on everyone who wishes to improve his or her presentation skills. We have specially developed our own modules for people who need to powerfully and effectively convey their message to the media.

Our team
Bart Maussen is in charge of daily management of Maussen Media & Presentation Training Courses. He has been providing effective media and presentation courses since 1997, and for each individual student considers which specific trainer should be put in for the trajectory. He works with renowned trainers who have gained their spurs in the media, e.g. former spokespersons for companies, political parties, ministries or individuals, or hosts with an impressive service record. Mariëtte Fehmers assists Bart with daily management. Due to her long experience at national television, she is extremely competent in media and presentation skills. Jolein van Doesselaar supports Bart and Mariëtte at the organisational level. Together they can submit a specific training proposal, geared to your needs: tailor-made work at its best!

Our method
Maussen Media & Presentation Training Courses’ basic assumption is that a person must first be able to tell his or her own story well in his/her own words. Only after that can the story be repeated in front of the media, or a group of listeners. In our training courses, we are concerned with the effects of a person’s personal performance. This is true for the media training courses as well as for the presentation skills. We train and improve these skills without involving psychology and without teaching our trainees "tricks". On the basis of these basic assumptions, we have developed an effective training method in which the individual has the central role in his/her own context. Every training course is tailor-made: we do not use any standard modules.
At the end of the training course, you will receive a CD/DVD, so you can review the lessons / experiences and insights at any time.

We work on a basis of strict confidentiality. The camera recordings we make are destroyed immediately after the CD/DVD has been burned.
We train individuals as well as groups (4 - 5 people maximum).
